During the grassroots season, KeShaun Manney was apart of the top 15U backcourt on the NY2LA Association while playing with MidPro Academy along with Cole DuBois and Brady Welch. With Manney, MidPro Academy was able to capture the NY2LA Championship this past summer.
From the grassroots season, the game of Manney has only continued to build. Right now in his sophomore season the 6’0” guard is averaging 16.4 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game for Bloomington Central Catholic (IL).
“I can shoot and score at will but also being able to distribute and also getting a stop when needed, playing the passing lanes and rebounding,” Manney said when describing his own game. Manney has shown the ability to be one of the top two-way guards in Illinois’ 2027 class as he consistently improved his game throughout last spring to the summer to now. In addition to his shot creating ability, he is also an effective slasher and also has the ability to run the point. Plus, he is a tough on ball defender with his athleticism.
For the remainder of his sophomore high school season with Bloomington Central Catholic, Manney has some team goals in mind. “To win games and get a good seed for regionals,” he stated.
