Just this week a pair of seniors from the Indiana Elite program announced their college commitments to division one programs. It started with 6’6” wing Matthew Langhi of Marshall County High School (KY) who was then followed by teammate Isaiah Mack-Russell, a 6’5” wing guard of Winton Woods High School (OH).

Langhi will be staying in Kentucky with his commitment to Bellarmine. He announced his commitment on Tuesday with the caption “100% Committed. Go Knights.” The Atlantic Sun Conference program had just offered him earlier this summer at the end of June. The offer came following a visit to the Louisville school. Langhi had also recently taken another visit there before making his commitment. He had also been previously offered by Indiana State, Jacksonville State, and Southern Indiana. In his junior season, Langhi helped lead Marshall County to a KHSAA Sweet 16 appearance. During the season, he averaged 27.3 points and 5.4 rebounds. He earned himself first team all-state honors as well to first region player of the year.

Mack-Russell will be headed out west with his commitment to UNLV. He marks a major commitment for head coach Josh Pastner and staff as he is a top one hundred player nationally in the 2027 class. The commitment comes after the senior had just made his visit out to the Las Vegas school. He is ranked as high as 86th nationally according to 247 Sports. Over the past few years, he picked up a very lengthy list of offers from programs across the nation. This included Arizona State, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Dayton, Ohio State, South Florida, Xavier, and others. In his junior season, the wing guard averaged 23.7 points per game.

The duo of Langhi and Mack-Russell join the group of committed players from the 2027 Indiana Elite 3SSB team. As well to them two, Brandon Hunter has also made his commitment. He picked Belmont earlier this summer.
