In this current landscape of delayed recruitment for high schoolers, there are so many current with plenty of abilities for the college level just waiting for their recruitment to get to the level they deserve. Here are five more seniors in part two of this series that more college coaches should be looking at.

Donovan Calloway – 2027 – G – MTXE

It has been a big stock boosting year for the guard. After averaging 18.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.7 steals for Wauwatosa East during his junior season, Calloway had some big performances in recent months too. This included being named a top performer back in June at the NY2LA Next Level Invitational as one of the tournaments top scorers. Calloway has a very good blend of abilities on the offensive side with his shot making, ability to create off the dribble, and being a facilitator. His recruitment got a bit of a jump this month with an offer from Lakeland University.  

Cormac Hanus – 2027 – G/F – Full Package

Hanus is a player who has only continued to improve and add to his game over recent months. This includes his breakout grassroots season with Full Package paired alongside a big month of June with Benet Academy. He only got better throughout the summer with his standout play at the loaded Riverside Brookfield Shootout and was then named a top standout at the NY2LA Grassroots Invitational. As well to being 6’5”, Hanus has proven to be a knockdown outside shooting while also rounding out his offensive game with improved playmaking off the dribble.

Joshua Henderson – 2027 – G/F – Indiana Game

Henderson is an incredibly intriguing prospect with unlimited upside. Along with his great physical tools standing at 6’6” plus his length, he has also continued to progress on the court. He is a true two-way wing with good shot making ability. In July he picked up his first division one offer coming from Le Moyne.

Phillip Jones – 2027 – PG – MPJ Elite

While Jones did receive his first division one offer earlier this summer from Troy, he is a point guard more programs will want to take look at. In his junior season he helped East St. Louis win an Illinois state title and his game has taken off since then. He has shown to be one of the top point guards in Illinois’ 2027 class with a great ability to create for others along with good shot making ability and tough on ball defensive play.

Charles Schlicht – 2027 – SG – PAC Elite

Throughout his high school career, Schlicht has been an incredibly consistent player. Whether it has been for Grant High School or PAC Elite, the two guard has continued to greatly produce over the past few years. This has been mainly with his scoring ability as he excels as an aggressive driver paired with his athleticism and outside shooting. He started to build interest from programs at the division two, three, and NAIA levels and should see this recruitment grow with some offers.
