This past weekend, Zavier Zens took an official visit. The 6’7” 2026 small forward of Wisconsin Lutheran High School and 24Up went up to UW-Green Bay.
“Green Bay visit was great,” Zens said. “Was really cool to see the campus and the facilities. I enjoyed being around the guys and watching practice. Everything was awesome.” Green Bay had offered the junior back in July. “They all seem to sort of fit the way I play In a way.”
In addition to the offer from Green Bay, Zens has also been offered by Northern Michigan, Stetson, and Toledo. Some of the other programs to be recruiting him include Charlotte, Hawaii, North Dakota State, South Dakota, South Dakota State, St. Louis, Western Michigan, and Wyoming. As well, some newer programs to have shown interest in him include Drake, Indiana State, Miami (OH), and Virginia Tech.
The visits are just getting started for Zens. This weekend he will be heading to Florida to visit Stetson. Following that he also has ones planned to Miami (OH), Toledo, and the North Dakota State.
After helping Wisconsin Lutheran win a state championship last season apart of a perfect 30-0 season, Zens is looking toward another successful season even with the loss of Kon Knueppel. “Goals for the year are helping the team prove we are still really good and compete at the highest level. I want to win conference and keep winning. My personal goals are conference player of the year and then all state.”
