Following the summer travel season, NY2LA Sports updates our class of 2027 rankings in Wisconsin…
6. Eli Krueger – F/C – McFarland
Think you have to project here. Is Krueger the sixth-best player in the state right now? Probably not, but he’s 6-foot-9, mobile, and not even near his ceiling. Krueger got better and better over the spring/summer and showed he can be a dominant post threat, but also a floor spacing big as well.
7. Tref Rademaker – F/C – West De Pere
Same deal here. Another big that hasn’t blossomed yet, but likely will in a year or two if he puts in the work. Rademaker has a really nice frame at 6-8/6-9 with some length and a little more muscle. He’s got a soft touch around the rim, can shoot the ball from 3-point range, and passes it well in the high-low game.
8. Reece Jordan Jr. – SG – Madison LaFollette
Jordan is one of the best bucket getters in this class. The 6-foot-1 guard can put you on an island and go to work. A super smooth lefty with a deadly step-back game, Jordan has a ton of tricks when he gets the ball. Also a solid pick n’ roll guard, Jordan is slithery when he works in traffic and in the open floor as well. Not only is his step-back game lethal, but so his his euro-step.
9. Tyler Wollin – F – Lake Mills
Just love the way Wollin approaches the game. They just don’t make prospects like Wollin anymore, a true blue collar player that can do whatever role you ask of him. A Swiss army knife, Wollin is a bruising, but skilled slashing combo forward. He’ll space the floor as a 3-point shooter, serve as an extra ball handler and play a little point forward as well. Wollin just does everything well too — sets hard screens, gets on the floor for loose balls, and controls the glass. Type of kid you love playing with and hate playing against.
10. D’Anthony Brown – F – Milwaukee Academy of Science
With Devin Brown moving to Overtime Elite, it’ll be interesting to see what Brown does this winter for MAS. This is a very high upside kid who is just scratching the surface. Brown shows a lot of flashes athletically, but the 6-foot-6 combo forward has a nice face-up game in the high post and can really attack the bucket aggressively.
