Wes Rahn Continues To Emerge In Wisconsin’s 2026 Class

With his emergence over the past year, Wes Rahn is proving on the hardwood that not only is he a scholarship level player but one of the top forwards in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. Following a standout grassroots season with Wisconsin Academy, the 6’8” has followed that up a strong junior season with Lakeside Lutheran High School.

Right now in his junior season Rahn is currently averaging a double-double. This includes 17.8 points along with 12.9 rebounds per game. He has led them to a near perfect record at they are sitting at 8-1 currently. “I think I have been able to contribute to my team in many different ways whether it be scoring, assisting, or rebounding. I know if we can keep up how we are playing we can continue to have success throughout the year,” Rahn said about his season.

To date, Rahn holds a pair of division two offers. Over the summer Northern Michigan and then Winona State offered him. Back in the fall, he took visits to both of these schools which had offered him. One of the new schools recruiting him recently who has been showing the most interest in him over the past few months is Michigan Tech.

For the rest of the high school season, Rahn has both some team and personal goals. “Our team we want to win a conference championship and get as far in the playoffs as we can. I think my personal goals is to continuing being able to help my team in any way possibly in order for us to win.”
