Trent Sisley Staying Home

Mike Woodson and Indiana were able to keep Trent Sisley in-state. On Monday, the 6’7” senior forward announced his commitment to the Hoosiers. The Indiana native who attended Heritage Hills High School up until his junior season, now attends Montverde Academy. He played with the Indiana Elite program.

Back in June he announced a top five that consisted of Iowa, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and Purdue in addition to Indiana.

Woodson and the Indiana coaching staff have been recruiting him throughout his high school career. They offered the highly coveted forward all the way back during November of his freshman year. Indiana was able to beat out much of the Big Ten who had also previously offered Sisley including Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. Other programs to have offered him included Louisville, Notre Dame, West Virginia, among others.

In the 2025 national rankings, Sisley comes in at sixty-five according to Rivals, seventy to 247 and seventy-eight to On3. He marks the first commitment to Indiana’s 2025 recruiting class. Sisley will bring some offensive versatility to Bloomington with his ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting ability.

The commitment comes after Sisley was on his official visit to Indiana this past weekend. Also taking his official visit this past weekend was five-star guard Braylon Mullins, who played with Sisley on Indiana Elite.
