Throughout his high school career, Will Garlock has continued raise his game as he is developing into not only one of the top 2025 big men in Wisconsin but all the Midwest. The 6’11” junior of Middleton High School (WI) currently has a few high major offers and has taken visits to some Big Ten programs in recent months.
Last spring, Marquette was the first school to offer him. Following that, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin have all also extended an offer to him. A lengthy list of other programs have also reached out to him also including Iowa, Iowa State, Florida State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Purdue, Virginia, and others. Out of all these school, the junior big man said that Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Virginia, and Virginia Tech are standing out in his recruitment.
In the past few months, Garlock has taken visits to both Iowa and Wisconsin. “My visit to Iowa was really good,” he said. “Really liked the campus and the coaching staff as well as the players.” On his other visit, he said “Wisconsin has been good as well. Great coaching staff that I have built a good relationship with. Great arena and practice facilities as well as campus.”
After averaging 11.4 points and 5.5 rebounds last year as a sophomore, the game of Garlock has continued to really build. Right now, he is averaging 18.4 points and 8.7 rebounds for Middleton, leading them in both categories.
