Between his play with Benet Academy and Full Package, Colin Stack has cemented his spot as one of the top recruits in the Midwest’s 2026 class. The seven-foot center has earned himself several division one offers and is also on the radar of plenty of others.
During this year, Stack has proven himself to be a winner. Back during his junior season, he helped Benet Academy capture the Illinois 4A state championship. Then during the grassroots season, he won the NY2LA Platinum Elite Championship with Full Package. Stack can help a team win games in numerous ways not just as a traditional big man but also with his outside shooting and mobility. He continued to shoot the ball at a high percentage all spring and summer long including at over 40% from three in all but one NY2LA tournament this season. This included 50% at the NY2LA Next Level Invitational. Stack was named to the All-July team on the NY2LA Platinum Elite in their championship season.
The offer list for Stack currently includes Bryant, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana State, and UIC. Plenty of others are recruiting Stack including Chattanooga, Delaware, DePaul, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Illinois, Wofford, and others.
Most recently in his recruitment, Stack took a visit to Chattanooga. “It was a great campus, they just spent a lot of money on their new facilities,” he said about the visit. Adding in, “I do plan on going back there for an official soon because I liked what I saw at Chattanooga.” He is also planning on taking some visits soon to Southern Illinois and UIC.
On his commitment timeline, Stack stated “It would be nice to commit before season but I’m definitely not against committing after season.”
