Sean Lee Picks Up First Division One Offer

One player who saw their recruitment jump following the June 15th date when college coaches could contact the 2026 class was Sean Lee. The 6’4” guard of Decatur MacArthur High School (IL) and MidPro Academy was able to receive his first scholarship offer on the first day of contact starting.

The offer for the rising junior came from Northern Illinois University. “It feels great, especially knowing all the hard work I’m put in is paying off,” Lee said about picking up the offer from the MAC program.

During the spring, Lee was one of the top guards on the 16U level of the NY2LA Association playing with MidPro Academy. “The spring with MidPro was very good,” Lee said. “Seeing a lot of talent and also seeing what I have to bring to the table for my team to win.”

“Poised” is the first thing Lee said when describing his own game. “I’m very poised, I’m never trying to go too fast or too slow, instead I’m just very patient.” As well to his positional size, as well as strength in the backcourt, the guard skills of Lee have continued to greatly build over the past year. He is at his best playing downhill but also shown much improved playmaking off the dribble including hitting shots off the dribble.
