Ross Robertson Talks Division 2 Offer

Following a visit to a division two program, Ross Robertson picked up his first scholarship offer. The offer for the 6’8” forward of South Beloit High School (IL) and Davis Brothers Elite came from Northern Michigan University.

Robertson has been one of the most dominant players in Illinois’ 2025 class having already scored his 2,000th high school point. He did this while averaging 25 points, 15 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3 blocks this past season to earn first team all-state honors by the IBCA.

“I really enjoyed the visit a lot,” Robertson said about his trip to Northern Michigan. “The coaches were amazing. The campus was beautiful.” When asked if there was anything he liked about them, he added in “I really feel they fit my play style. I have a strong connection with the coaches which I really love as well.” Some of the other schools that have shown interest in him include Albany, Lewis University, Loyola Chicago, and UC-San Diego.

Robertson has gotten off to a very strong start to the grassroots season with Davis Brothers Elite. This has included a platinum championship this past weekend at the NY2LA Spring Showdown where the forward was one of the top performers in attendance. “The spring is going well with Davis Brothers Elite. My teammates are great, and we all play well together.” Robertson and Davis Brothers Elite will continue their spring season this upcoming weekend at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza in Iowa.
