PG Anthony Rise Adds Another Offer

Senior point guard Anthony Rise of Brookfield Central High School (WI) has added another offer for himself recently. This one came from the University of Hawaii Hilo. In his junior season Rise averaged 12.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He then had a breakout summer while playing with the Chapman Basketball Academy.

“The whole atmosphere and vibe of Hilo was amazing and one of a kind,” Rise said about the newest school to offer him. “Being from Wisconsin, Hawaii has many differences which I really liked.” The offer for Rise came following a visit out to Hawaii.

Back in June, Rise had also received an offer from Northern Michigan University, another division two program. A number of other division two programs are recruiting him including Flagler College, Hillsdale College, Minnesota Duluth, Quincy University, St. Leo, and University of Tampa.

“I am looking to help be a part of a winning program with a team that plays together and for each other,” Rise said about the search for his future college. Next up in the recruitment of Rise is a trip down to Florida this upcoming weekend to visit both Flagler College and University of Tampa. Following that in his senior season he is looking to help Brookfield Central win a conference and state title as well to being a leader.
