While only a rising junior, Chris Pohl has continued to add to his offer list. The 6’7” forward of Marshfield High School and the Wisconsin Playmakers has already doubled his number of offers early in July.
Pohl entered the month with offers from both Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan, who each offered him last month. The newest offers for him came from Saginaw Valley State and then most recently Winona State. As well to the offers, Augustana, Liberty, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Rockhurst, South Dakota State, and St. Thomas have all shown interest in him.
While just being offered by Saginaw Valley State and Winona State, Pohl already has some aspects he likes of both programs and their coaching staffs. “I love the fact that Winona State is at almost, if not all of my aau games. They really make it a priority to come watch their recruits and connect on a personal level with them.” With regards to Saginaw Valley State, Pohl said “I love how Coach Baruth is really making an effort to get me to campus and meet my parents. Knowing not only me but my family on a personal level is huge.”
For visits, Pohl has previously taken one to Michigan Tech. He is looking in the future to take visits to most of the schools recruiting him.
Once again this year, Pohl has been playing up a level with the Wisconsin Playmakers 17U team. “The spring season has been awesome so far and I’m hoping that we can really lock in for these last couple weekend and bring some wins in.” Next up for Pohl and the Wisconsin Playmakers is the UA Rise Session II in Georgia starting Thursday.
