The state of Michigan will be well represented on NY2LA’s Platinum Elite this upcoming season. Michigan programs that were previously announced include D Rice Elite, The Academy, Northcoast Premier, and Michigan Playmakers. The newest addition from the mitten state being REACH Legends.
With the REACH Legends teams at the 17U, 16U and 15U levels, there will be plenty of talented players to be familiar with. This will be headlined at the 17U level with the trio of 2026’s in Braylon Frantz, a 6’1” point guard of St. Clair High School, Cole Charter a 6’4” point guard of Clarkston High School, and Alex Jamsion, a 6’2” guard of Port Huron North High School. Frantz has had a standout junior season in which he was just named Conference MVP. He is a skilled scorer having hit the 1,000-point mark already and scored 39 points in a single game this season but has also had games with double-digit assists. Charter is a highly versatile player with his positional size in addition to an extremely well-rounded skill set. Jamison is another player in the REACH Legends backcourt who has already scored his 1,000th point in his junior season.
As well to 17U team, both their 16U and 15U teams will have plenty of talent as well with some high upside players too. Featured on their 16U squad is Ken White Jr., a 5’10” point guard of Arbor Preparatory, Cordell Robinson, a 6’2” guard of Detroit Country Day School, and Isaiah Marion, a 6’5” wing of Detroit Country Day School. Finally, at the 15U level, they will feature Kameron Shannon, a 6’8” forward of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, Julian Edison, a 6’3” guard of Warren Lincoln High School, and Ignire Muhammed, a 6’3” guard of Warren Lincoln High School.
