NY2LA The Platinum Elite: Michigan Playmakers

After being a presence on the NY2LA Association over the past several years, the Michigan Playmakers will be returning this season to be a part of the NY2LA Platinum Elite. With them they will be returning the core of their talent from last season.

At the 17U level, they will feature the trio of 6’2” Curtis Britton IV of West Bloomfield High School, 6’4” Mareon Knott of Detroit King High School, and 6’1” Terrence Lowe of West Bloomfield High School. Last season, Britton was one of the top guards at the 16U level of the NY2LA Association. He is a gifted two-way guard with his outside shooting, perimeter defense, and playmaking ability with the ball. Sharing the backcourt with Britton will be Lowe who should make up a formable guard duo. Bringing some physicality, strength, and energy to the group will be the 6’4” wing Knott. With this trio and others last season, they were able to go 4-0 at the Next Level Invitational back in May in addition to making it to the platinum quarterfinals at Summer Jam.

The Michigan Playmakers 16U team will be highlighted by 6’2” guard Modou Touray of Redford Thurston High School as well to 6’6” forward Dave Jones of Birmingham Grove High School.
