As well to plenty of returning NY2LA programs joining The Platinum Elite, there are also some new additions. One of these being the Ice Tre Elite program.
With a few division one level players on their 17U team, look for them to make plenty of noise in their first season with NY2LA. They are headlined by a trio of players which includes Graciano Nthona, a 6’5” guard of Zephyrhills Christian Academy, Sansao Wika, a 6’8” wing guard also of Zephyrhills Christian Academy, and Wellingthon Barros, a 6’4” point guard of SoCal Academy. All three of them are division one level players.
Nthona is an elite guard on both ends of the floor. He has a very good blend of positional size, athleticism, and playmaking ability. Wika is an extremely high upside player with all his tools. He has great size in addition to his elite athleticism, versatility, and shooting ability. While only a sophomore, there is already much to like from the game of Barros. He is a high energy and explosive point guard who is at his best playing on the attack but is also a standout with his defensive play.
Headlined by this trio in addition to plenty of other talented pieces on the roster, expect to hear plenty about Ice Tre Elite during the upcoming grassroots season.
