Part two of three of the Ones to Watch from this past weekend’s NY2LA Final Chapter. With all the depth and talent at the 17U level, the coverage keeps on coming.
Adam Dugener – 2026 – G – WM Premier NY2LA
Dugener is a very skilled guard who can both play the role of the scorer or the distributor. He opened the tournament scoring 19 points leading his team to a win but then in other games was racking up the assists. Dugener really knows how to play with the ball in his hands; playing under control, decision making, getting to his spots, handling ball pressure, hitting shots off the dribble, and good vision on the move.
Drew Floyd – 2026 – PG – Michigan Playmakers
Floyd was one of the top distributors of the entire tournament but also showed his scoring ability including a 14 point game. All tournament long he was dishing out five plus assists per game. He moves extremely well with the ball in his hands getting wherever he wants and showed excellent court vision and ability to read the defense quickly on the attack.
Christian Hill – 2026 – G – I AM 3
Hill had multiple standout games including an 18 point, 6 rebound, and 5 steal stat line to start off his tournament in a win. He is an extremely explosive wing guard with good size in the backcourt at 6’4”. Whether it was on drives, cuts, or in transition, he was consistently getting to the basket and finishing it strong above the rim but also hit some threes during the tournament. He should be a popular target this upcoming weekend for college coaches at NY2LA Summer Jam with all his tools for the next level.
Alex Jamison – 2026 – G – Reach Legends
Jamison a smart and skilled guard who can do so much on the court helping his team to an undefeated weekend. He had multiple efficient double digit scoring games as part of his teams even attack as an accurate outside shooter but even more than impressed with his distributing ability. In a single half of action on Saturday, Jamsion recorded six assists, even while not primarily running the point. He showed his great court vision and ability to get his on target passes wherever he wanted on the floor. Especially on the attack he was very effective distributing it with his ability to connect passing it through traffic and finding shooters. He was recently offered by Lake Superior State.
Zeke Sawall – 2026 – SG – Pro Lane
It was a breakout weekend for the skilled guard who started the tournament with a 23 point game while shooting 3-4 from deep. He also scored 19 points with four threes in his final game and was a large part of his teams undefeated tournament. His range extends well beyond and he also showed the ability the ball and shoot it off the dribble. While a knockdown shooter from the outside, Sawall also has good size in the backcourt at 6’3”.
Kayden Schultz – 2026 – G – Chapman North
Schultz continues to show off his high skill level tournament after tournament. He started the tournament off with a 15 point, 11 rebound game in a win and continued to play well from there to go 3-1 while playing some very tough competition. Schultz is such a skilled and efficient scorer who shot the ball very well all tournament pulling up in the mid-range and at 6’3” hitting shots right over defenders but also shot it well from the outside to be in the double digits scoring all tournament. He has continued to be a very popular target amongst scholarship coaches recently picking up two more division two offers coming from Lake Superior State and St. Cloud State.
