NY2LA Summer Jam – KJ’s Standouts Part 2

The second of four articles of top performers from this weekend’s NY2LA Summer Jam Finale.

Kendall Bosby – G – 2026 – Hoops4Health 17U National

Bosby delivered an impressive all-around performance, showcasing high-level skill, IQ, and poise. The 6’3″ guard scored 22 points in his game on Sunday, and he knocked down five threes from deep.   Bosby also displayed improved court vision and point guard play, consistently finding open teammates . 

Zahir Haqq – G – 2026 – The Academy Michigan Blue

The breakout guard turned in a standout performance, pouring in 31 points with a complete offensive display. He attacked the rim aggressively, using athleticism and strength to finish through defenders, and with control.  In transition, Haqq thrived, running the floor hard, making smart decisions. His combination of scoring, pace, and physicality made him impact the game at all levels.

Joseph Costanzo – 2026 – G – Full Package 17U White

Costanzo played a key role in a 68–45 win on Sunday, scoring 18 points and knocking down four threes at a high percentage. His shooting was smooth and efficient, forcing the defense to extend and creating space for teammates, and Costanzo stayed ready off the ball, moving with purpose. In the open floor, his decision-making really stood out. Costanzo was efficient as he provided scoring, pace, and leadership in a strong all-around performance that helped his team throughout the tournament

Hassan Makki – 2026 – SF – Michigan Warriors

Makki delivered a big-time performance in a tightly contested 62–60 win on Saturday, finishing with 17 points and providing steady production throughout but also played very well throughout the tournament. The 6’6” forward used his size, strength, and speed to score effectively in the paint but also play on the perimeter. His versatility allowed him to attack mismatches, operate both inside and out, and impact the game in multiple ways. His versatile skill set and physical presence helped get his team to the championship game.

Gabe Servais – 2027 – G – Wisconsin 26ers

Gabe Servais delivered a complete and electric performance in a hard-fought 68–62 OT win on Saturday, finishing with 30 points and five made threes. Offensively, he showcased deep shooting range, great shot selection, and the ability to break down defenders off the dribble. Gabe’s agility and ball control allowed him to create space and score in a variety of ways. On the defensive end, he was relentless—applying pressure, jumping passing lanes, and coming away with multiple steals. Gabe’s speed and anticipation made him a constant threat on both sides of the ball.

Mohammad Badwan – 2027 – W – Power 5 Brelove

Badwan delivered a strong all-around offensive performance, scoring 26 points in an 82–71 win on Saturday and proving to be a constant threat. Badwan knocked down four threes showing great shot selection and form on his jumper. He was aggressive in attacking the paint, using strength, body control, and touch to finish around the paint.  As well to his high scoring ability he is also a smart wing who knows how to play.

Jaden Boyd – 2027 – PG – Power 5 Brelove

Boyd delivered a composed and impactful performance, finishing with 18 points on Saturday while also running the point very effectively. He plays with good quickness and change speeds to break down defenders. Boyd showed excellent playmaking instincts, consistently setting up teammates for easy looks, and his court vision was on full display. As a floor general, Boyd showed good court vision and facilitating, and smart decision-making.

Vincent Nover – 2027 – G – Indiana Elite Team Central

Nover put together a highly efficient and well-rounded offensive output throughout the tournament to reach the title game He attacked the paint with control, finishing through contact around the rim, and he knocked down three threes in a confident rhythm. Nover consistently made the right reads and set up teammates in positions to score showing his ability to run the point. Nover is a big stock booster over the past few months that should get him in college coaches radar.

Ethan Matz – 2026 – PG – Full Package 17U Black

Ethan Matz put together an impressive offensive outing, scoring 18 points in one of his games but was also effective throughout the tournament. He consistently got to the rim moving well with the ball through traffic but also shot it well from the outside. This included a game winning three in the final seconds of a game on Saturday night. Matz is a smart and skilled combo guard who was very effective throughout the tournament on both ends helping Full Package win the platinum title.
