Championship Sunday did not disappoint with all the talent at the NY2LA Summer Jam. Here are some of the top standouts from the day including one each from the three championship teams.
Kendall Bosby – 2026 – G – Hoops4Health
Bosby was doing it all in a win for Hoops4Health. This included one of the top scoring performances of the day. He started the game hitting everything as he scored 18 points just in the first half with five made threes to build a significant lead and eventual win. He finished the game with 23 points. Much more than just his scoring, he showed improved ability handling the ball and running the point, dished out five assists showing good vision, and competed defensively matching up with both guards and wings.
Kyren Evans – 2027 – G – Missouri Phenom
The guard shined on both ends of the floor and played a pivotal role in the Phenom capturing the 16U championship. Not only did he score 14 points but showed his lockdown defensive play and came up with some much-needed rebounds on both ends, even just at 6’1”. Evans came through in the clutch too hitting the game tying and then game winning free throw with just seven seconds to go.
Tylen Kingsby – 2028 – SF – Power 5
With all the talent at the 15U level, Kingsby was one of the best. He had plenty of standout games at the tournament but saved his best performances for the championship game where he scored 28 points in the win. Not only does he already have some size on the wings at 6’5” plus great athleticism but can also really shoot the ball. In the championship game, Kingsby hit five threes.
Tommy Moffett – 2026 – G/F – Full Package
There have been a variety of players to step up for Full Package throughout the spring and summer and it was Moffett today. In the first half alone of the championship game, the wing scored 19 points to get his team an early lead and later the win. Not only did he score it in bunches but was doing so incredibly efficiently. The smart guard shot it well in the half hitting a pair of threes but really scored it in a variety of ways including around the paint through contact.
Corvalis Stewart – 2028 – G – Wisconsin Academy
Not only did Stewart have one of the top games of the tournament but did it on the big stage scoring 31 points in the 15U championship. He impressed throughout the tournament with not just his scoring but also his ability to do a bit of everything out on the floor. He was stellar playing on the attack with his handle and quickness consistently getting deep into the paint and finishing or getting to the line.
