The second of two stock booster articles from the 17U level of the Summer Jam tournament. Plenty of must see talent here for college coaches of all levels.
Aidan Clark – 2026 – G/F – I AM 3
After a standout tournament the week prior at Final Chapter, Clark had himself another impressive tournament. This included one of the best halves of the tournament in which he scored 16 with some extremely key jumpers in the final 90 seconds. While a good slasher who moves well with the ball and finishes well with his length and size at 6’6” he also shot it well from three. There is so much to like from this game with his versatility and physical tools from the wing.
Connor Fierstine – 2026 – F – Zero Star
Fierstine was a big reason why Zero Star was able to advance all the way to the elite eight, with some clutch scoring of his. In the final ninety seconds of their sweet sixteen victory, the tough forward scored on a pair of baskets posting up. He has great strength and the will to just not be stopped when it was needed most finishing right through taller defenders as well to scoring with good post moves. What he may lack in height he makes up for with his strength, solid build, crafty play, and aggressiveness.
Jordan Harrison – 2026 – PG – The Academy
Harrison just got better throughout the tournament to be one of its leading scorers. This started with a 14 points game, then on Saturday he went for 20, and finished off everything with a 33 point game. Throughout all these games he truly showed the ability to score it from all three levels effectively but also distribute it out. He is at his best aggressively attacking the basket to finish, pull up in the mid-range, or get himself to the line often. Though he is also a consistent outside shooter hitting three threes in a single game.
Dallas Hernandez – 2026 – G – Houston Hoops CTX
The 6’3” guard was simply sensational down the stretch of a game Saturday night battling versus the eventual platinum champions. He scored 13 second half with multiple key baskets late leading a comeback. This included a tough contested three off the dribble with just a minute to play to cut it down to one. He also had a few tough driving baskets fighting through contact on his way to the rim in the final five minutes including a pair of and one plays.
Amaris Hunt – 2026 – PG – Pride Roc
Hunt has continued to play very well this season with Pride Roc and finished that in a big way at Summer Jam. This included leading his team to a three point win as he scored 15 points in just the second half. He has some serious burst to his game to be able to get all the way to the bucket but also showcase his jumper hitting threes both off the catch and dribble. A true playmaker off the dribble who has good vision and can beat defenders in a variety of ways. Following the tournament, he committed to Ferrum College.
Kaiden Simpson – 2026 – SF – Jay Academy
Simpson is a long and athletic 6’5” wing. He made his biggest impression with a posturizing alley-oop dunk but made in an impact in much greater ways. This included a clutch block from the weakside with just 30 seconds left in a tight game. With his physical tools and quickness, he showed the ability to defend one through four effectively. He also scored well as a slasher with his long strides and ability to maneuver through traffic but also hits some threes throughout the tournament.
Cuba Smith – 2026 – SG – Region Force
Smith impressed during multiple games with everything he can do. He scored it effectively including an 18 point game plus 10 points in a single half of another game. Though he impressed even more with his defensive play and stat stuffing. He stands at 6’3” with some strength and is a high energy defender on the perimeter who is very tough to beat. He scored it well mainly going strong to the basket but can also shoot the three and also rebounds it very well as a guard.
