An intriguing high upside wing that is still available from Michigan’s 2025 class is Nsikan Usen. The 6’5” senior has been one of the more impactful players on the NY2LA Association over the past couple of seasons during his time playing with D Rice Elite.
As well to his standout play with D Rice Elite, he is also having a stellar senior season with Lakeland High School following a first team all-conference junior season. Right now, he is averaging a double-double with 14 points along with 10.5 rebounds. The do it all wing is also averaging 2 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.9 blocks.
With his length, athleticism, defensive versatility, motor, and great upside, Usen is drawing interest from several colleges. Some of the colleges who are recruiting him currently include Adrian, Albion, Heidelberg, among others. He has previously visited both Adrian and Heidelberg. Coming up next, he will be taking a visit soon to Albion on the 12th of this month.
“Tight-knit bond between the players and the coaches,” is what Usen first said for what he is looking for in his future college. “This is tremendously important as I believe a strong bond between the whole team builds chemistry allowing for even more success on the basketball court.” He is looking to make his college commitment following his high school season.
