Even while just a sophomore, Jalen Brown has continued to add the division one offers for himself. Last week, the 6’4” point guard of Wauwatosa West High School (WI) and Power 5 added one more offer to his growing list.
Prior to the newest offer, the year got off to a big start for Brown with the end of his high school season. Brown and Wauwatosa West were able to win the Wisconsin division two state championship. Brown shined all season long while averaging 22.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.7 steals per game in the championship season. He earned himself all-state honors from the WBCA. “Winning state was like a dream come true,” Brown said about winning the ultimate prize. “Growing up winning state was something I wanted to do.”
Now into the grassroots season, the high level of play continued. This season Brown is now playing with Power 5. To start off his season, he was one of the top players at the 16U level of the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish Tournament back at the beginning of the month. He helped his team advanced to the platinum semifinals of the tournament. “The tournament went great,” Brown said about Swish N’ Dish and playing with his new Power 5 team. “I want to lead this team to a great season.”
The newest offer for Brown came from Alabama A&M. Last month he also added an offer from Mississippi State with the month before that getting an offer from West Virginia. Last year he also had picked up offers from both Arizona State and Northern Illinois.
