Names To Know In Illinois’ 2026 Class

After taking a look at some seniors in Illinois, now moving on to the 2026 class.

Quinn Arundel – 2026 – PG – Mother McAuley

While she already had an all-state special mention sophomore season, Arundel still looks like a player ready to elevate her game. She had a tremendous grassroots season with All In picking up some division two and NAIA offers. The junior is a tremendous outside shooter but also has very good point guard skills. Lewis, Roosevelt, and St. Xavier all offered her over the summer.

Lexi Baer – 2026 – SG – Peoria Richwoods

There is much to like about the game of Baer with her size at 6’2” in addition to her shooting ability, and well-rounded skill set. There are few players who can match her combination of talents. She has multiple division one offers including ones from Butler, Milwaukee, and others in addition to a growing list of interested programs. She was first team all-state by the IBCA as a sophomore and look for another huge season from her.

Allison Gogola – 2026 – SG – Lake Park

Gogola has taken big steps in her game over the past couple of seasons. She is a highly versatile player with good size in the backcourt at 5’10” and length in addition to a well-rounded game. The junior is one of those players who can do whatever is needed of her and a player to see with Lake Park this season.

Addie Schilb – 2026 – G – St. Charles East

After an all-conference and honorable mention all-area sophomore season, look for Schilb to be one of the top guards in the Chicago area this upcoming season. She has proven to be an extremely skilled scorer, especially with her ability to score it from the outside but also has a very good ability to distribute it out with her vision and passing skills. Add in her feel and athleticism, Schilb is one for college coaches to see.

Kendall Thomas – 2026 – PG – Minooka

Thomas is poised for a breakout junior season with her two-way ability. She is a true point guard who has shown the abilities to be one of the better ones in her area. Thomas is a very skilled playmaker with the ball in her hands on the attack with her great ability to distribute the ball but also score it well herself. She recently picked up an offer from Aquinas College and look for her recruitment to grow during the upcoming season.
