Monumental Week for Sophomore Quinton Kitt

It has been a very busy few days both on and off the court for Quinton Kitt. Not only did the 6’5” wing of East Peoria Community High School score his one thousand point, but he also added another scholarship offer from a division one program.

While just a sophomore, Kitt has already reached the one-thousand-point mark in high school career. He described his game as a three-level scorer in helping him already reach this lofty mark while not even halfway through his high school career. In his current season, he is averaging 20 points per game along with 9.5 rebounds. Also, on the court in the past couple of weeks he set his career high in scoring with 34 points and also had a game of 32 points and 20 rebounds.

Back in September, Kitt picked up his first division one offer coming from Illinois State. “I like how they have grown a new standard for themselves to be better every day,” he had to say about Illinois State.

The newest offer Kitt has just picked up came from Bradley. “I like how they try to keep the guys from around the city and keep them together and win with them,” he said about the nearby college.

As well to his two offers, Kitt also has several other programs recruiting him and has already taken several visits. This included to both of the schools who have offered him as well as DePaul, Northwestern, and Western Michigan. Kitt plays with the Meanstreets program.
