Marquette Offers 2026 Ethan Johnston

Over the past couple of months, the recruitment stock has started to take off for Ethan Johnston. The 6’6” 2026 guard of The Hill School (PA) and the New York Rens has added several offers including ones from both Big Ten and Big East schools.

The newest of offers for the junior came from Marquette. This offer comes following Marquette head coach Shaka Smart coming to see Johnston practice. “I love how their coaching staff values relationships, the coaches text me almost every day to check up on me,” he said on what he likes about Marquette. “They made sure to build a relationship with my family. They are really invested in my success.” Marquette has been recruiting him since this past summer during the live periods.

As well to the Marquette offer, he has also received offers from Illinois, Penn, Seton Hall, and Villanova over the past two months. This is in addition to an offer from Fordham last fall. As well to his growing list of offers, Johnston said that Boston College, Miami, Penn State, and Xavier are all among the schools recruiting him.

Johnston is planning on taking a visit to Marquette following his high school season. He is currently ranked the one hundred forty sixth player in Rivals 2026 national rankings.
