Keegan VanKauwenberg Is Headed To Green Bay

Green Bay landed one of the top available in-state guards left in the 2025 class. This came on Monday when Keegan VanKauwenberg of Kaukauna High School and the Wisconsin Crusaders made his commitment to the Phoenix and head coach Doug Gottlieb.

The commitment comes after VanKauwenberg was offered by Green Bay back in September. Just prior to the commitment on Monday, he took his official visit to the nearby school just a few days earlier. He had also previously taken official visits to both Missouri S&T and Michigan Tech.

Prior to being offered by Green Bay, VanKauwenberg had also been offered by a few division two programs. Michigan Tech, Missouri S&T, and Rockhurst had all offered him over the summer.

VanKauwenberg had a breakout season as a junior last year for Kaukauna. He went from averaging 10.1 points as a sophomore up to 18.7 points in his junior season. In his junior season he also averaged 3.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.6 steals per game helping Kaukauna to a 19-8 season and earning himself honorable mention all-state honors by the WBCA.

His breakout play continued into the summer when he had a 43-point game at the WBCA June Jam and then a stellar summer with the Wisconsin Crusaders. He is amongst the best shooters in Wisconsin’s 2025 class with a good ability to create for himself.
