Judson Henkel Gets Pair Of Offers

It has been a monumental few days in the recruitment of senior Judson Henkel. In just the past few days, the 6’8” power forward of Janesville Craig High School and the Wisconsin Swing received his first pair of scholarship offers.

The first offer came on a visit to division two University of Mary. “The visit was really great,” Henkel said about the visit to the North Dakota school. “I really liked the coaches and the campus, and really enjoyed hanging out with the players,” he said about the school.

The second offer for the senior came on another visit to another North Dakota school, Valley City State University. Henkel also called this a “great” visit. “I liked the facilities, coaches, and liked how they talked about investing in the players,” he said about the NAIA school.

The power forward had a breakout junior season in which he averaged 15.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game at Janesville Craig helping them go 19-9. His game continued to take great strides during the spring and summer with the Wisconsin Swing as he developed into one of the better big men on the NY2LA Association. Among the other schools recruiting him include Judson, Southwest Minnesota State, St. Cloud State, Union University, and University of Jamestown.
