Jordan Sigmon Talks Recruitment And Junior Season

Even with limited focus on high schoolers in the current recruiting landscape, one junior who has still been able to reel in a lengthy list of scholarship offers is Jordan Sigmon. The 6’2” point guard of Renaissance High School and The Family has been one of the most sought after 2026 players in not only Michigan but the entire Midwest as well.

Amongst the schools to have offered him includes both mid-major and high-major programs. He has been offered by Alabama, Akron, Cal Poly, Detroit Mercy, LSU, Old Dominion, Portland, Toledo and Vanderbilt. In addition to the lengthy offer list, Arkansas, Auburn, Boise State, Michigan, Missouri, Pitt, are among the other schools recruiting him.

So far he has taken visits to Bowling Green, Pitt, Toledo, and Western Michigan. “A home away from home” is what Sigmon is searching for in his college. “I’m looking for a school that makes it seem like a second home.”

Sigmon posted another stellar junior season. While he did say that they did not make it as he planned, he did call it a “really good” season. Not only was he able to make All-City first team, but also received Mr. PSL. During the season, he continued to show that he is one of the top scorers in Michigan as well as in the 2026 class. On the season he averaged 28 points per game in addition to scoring his 1,500th career point.

Next up for Sigmon, he will once again be playing with The Family for his grassroots season on the EYBL. “I want to win Peach Jam and become a better player on the defensive end.”
