Jett Sutton Is A Name To Know In Texas’ 2025 Class

At the recent NY2LA Next Level Invitational Tournament back during the May live periods, Jett Sutton was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament while playing with Team Temple. The 6’2” guard of Lake Creek High School (TX) has started to see his recruitment build now moving into his senior year.

“I’ve had a great spring with my team,” Sutton said about his play with Team Temple. “We have really came together which has really helped us compete in big games and has allowed us to develop our styles and how we all play.”

To date, the rising senior has one offer. This is from Southwestern College, a NAIA school in Kansas who went 24-6 this past season. He is planning on taking a visit to the Winfield, Kansas campus later this summer in August. Some of the other programs showing the most interest in him currently include East Central University, Southwestern University (TX), St. Mary’s University (TX), among others.

“I would describe myself as a three and D guy with the ability to play with and without the ball,” Sutton said describing his own play. “I am also able to defend at a high level without a lot of break downs.” The guard has continued to stand out with his great shot making ability. He has a pure jumper from the outside in addition to plenty of range. As well, he is a high energy guard with his defensive play.

College coaches can catch Sutton this weekend with his high school team at the TABC Showcase in the Dallas area.
