Jacob Hibner Is A Must See 2026 This Spring

From last year with Wisconsin Academy to his junior season with Stoughton High School, Jacob Hibner has continued to show he’s one of the top guards as well as scorers in Wisconsin’s 2026 class. With this, his recruitment has continued to build with offers and interest.

“My junior season was awesome,” Hibner said about his past junior season with Stoughton in which they went 16-9. “I really enjoyed it and I really saw great improvements in my game over the past couple of months.” He led them in scoring and assists with 19.3 and 3.0, respectively.

From last summer to now, the 6’3” guard has been able to pull in a few division two offers. These have come from Winona State, Minnesota Duluth, Rockhurst, Northern Michigan, and Michigan Tech. This is in addition to building interest from some division one programs which includes Illinois State, South Dakota, and St. Thomas.

“All of the division two schools have stayed very engaged and in contact with me through my junior season. All of them have been recruiting me hard and stay in contact with me weekly,” Hibner said on if any schools are recruiting him the hardest. He also added in all of his previous visits have been awesome experiences and is looking to take some additional ones in the coming months.

In the quickly approaching grassroots season, Hibner will once again be playing with Wisconsin Academy who will be competing on the NY2LA Platinum Elite. In the upcoming season, he is looking to “Definitely win as much games and tournaments as possible of course, but I also want to continue to show my skillset and leadership as a player out on the court.”
