Irish Land 6’9” 2025 PF Brady Koehler

After Trent Sisley made his commitment earlier today, another Indiana native made his commitment today. Next up was Brady Koehler making a commitment on Monday. The 6’9” senior power forward of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis and Indy Heat selected Notre Dame.

The Irish won out over his other finalist. Back in July, Koehler announced his final five of Iowa, Northwestern, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, along with Notre Dame. Among the other schools to have offered him included Butler, DePaul, Rutgers, Stanford, Virginia, West Virginia, among others. Koehler had been one of the biggest 2025 stock risers in the Midwest region during the year.

He was initially offered by Notre Dame back in January. The commitment comes after Koehler took his official visit to South Bend back on the September 6-8 weekend. Most recently he has visited Wake Forest, taking place on the following weekend. Koehler marks the first commitment in Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class.

In most 2025 national rankings, Koehler checks in just outside the top one hundred spots. The four-star power forward is ranked one hundred fourteenth by both On3 and 247 while Rivals has him at one hundred twelve. Koehler has shown the ability to be a standout on both ends of the floor down the line playing in the ACC. He is versatile defender with his size and length in addition to his mobility. He has shown a growing offensive game with his ability to hit outside jumpers.
