Girls Stars of the Week – 1/30

As we get deeper into the season, the stat lines only continue to heat up. Here are the stars from the past week.

Star sophomore Paityn London had a pair of performances that would land her here. It includes one of the top games of the season we’ve seen with 48 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals. She also added in a game of 31 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 7 steals.  

Rainey Welson had one of the top scoring performances of the past week with a 43-point game by the Maryland commitment.

In a prime time matchup, Howard commit Ariella Henigan had 35 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead Kenwood over Whitney Young.

Kristina Ouimette continues to put up some big point totals in her senior season. This included a 40 point game this week where the Green Bay commit also added in 8 rebounds and 8 assists. In another game, she tallied 29 point, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks.

While you see a lot of double-doubles here and some triple doubles at times, Jaedyn Zdroik took it to another level with a quadruple-double. The sophomore had a game with 15 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, and 10 steals for Pacelli.

Another appearance of Brooklyn Love as she continues to excel in her junior season with a trio of 20+ point games in addition to racking up the steals. The stat lines for the guard in her last three games were 21 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals followed by 25 points and 4 steals, and lastly 25 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 steals.

Sophomore point guard Kenzie Koch broke her own school record at Eastern Hancock while putting up 44 points in a single game.

In a 30 point game, senior guard Laney Cahoon of Orangeville High School hit the lofty career scoring total of 2,000 points.

Junior forward Landrie Callahan did a bit of everything in a double-double game. As well to her 18 points and 12 rebounds, she was also able to block 6 shots and dish out 4 assists.

While just a freshman, Eve Engler has already set a season record for Deerfield High School. The guard hit her record 100 made three pointers already in her standout frosh season. She got it done in a game where she knocked down six made threes.

As well to scoring a career high 32 points, junior guard Casey Vyverman added in 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

Elaija Hall set the single game record for rebounds for Martin Luther High School. Hall was able to grab a remarkable 24 rebounds.

Junior Alyvia McCorkle got it done in all areas. The point guard set a school record with 35 points but also added in an incredible 11 steals plus 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

Another appearance here of Izzy Eisbach who continues her dominant junior season. Most recently the guard had a triple-double for herself with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 steals.  

Maci Maynard had herself a 20-20 double-double. The freshman center accomplished this with a 22 point, 20 rebound game while also adding in 7 assists and 3 blocks.

Tiara Williams continues to be a very popular name in the regions 2027 class. The sophomore has already scored 1,000+ points and has now added in a 41 point game to her young basketball resume.

Another sophomore to reach the lofty 1,000 point total recently was Lillie Graves as she had herself a 43 point game to make this list.
