Girls Stars of the Week – 1/22

It was a banner week plus with plenty of high scoring games and many stat stuffing performances.

63 points!!! Junior Kamrah Banks had one of the highest scoring performances of the season nationwide with a 63 point performance for the star junior who has a lengthy list of offers.

Dalia DeJesus hit the lofty 50-point milestone in a win setting the school record for Dee-Mack High School.

Not only did Izzy Eisbach score 51 points but also recorded a double-double as she added in 10 rebounds. She also recorded another double-double but this one with points and steals with 36 and 11 plus grabbed 7 rebounds.

Sophomore Lillie Graves also had one of the highest scoring games of the last week with a 43 point performance for McCutcheon High School.

While Danyella Mporokoso has had plenty of high scoring games, the star junior guard hit her career high with a 40 point outburst.

In a single game, JJ Glass-Barnes scored 40 points, a career high, while becoming the all-time leading scorer for The Prairie School.

Another player to break the 40 point mark was Maddie Kiper. The junior finished with 41 points while setting the school record for Minooka High School. In the game she hit nine threes and recorded a double-double while grabbing 14 boards.

Brooklyn Love continues to shine in her junior season with a couple more star performances for Dominican High School. This included a game with 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals in addition to 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals in another game.

Ball State commit Brooke Winchester lands here for the rare 20-20 game. The senior got it done in a 24 point, 21 rebound game.

Not only did junior Allie Dahl score her 1,000th career point but did it in very impressive fashion. The point guard had 36 points but also grabbed 11 boards and dished out 8 assists.

Senior Aria Mazza had a high scoring game but did it all in a single half of play. In the first half of a game, the guard scored 25 points while hitting seven threes to put a game away early.

It was a triple-double for senior guard Olivia Neis, her second of the season. She put up 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The highly touted Nyajuacni Riak is exceeding her hype in her frosh season. This came most recently in a 38 point outburst.

One day, two games, 60 points. This is the coup that Sorya Parker accomplished on Monday. This included games of 31 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals, plus a game of 29 points, 3 rebounds, 7 steals, and 1 block.

Lexy Chapa put up a couple of stat stuffing games recently including a near triple double. This included games of 30 points, 10 rebounds, 9 steals, and 4 blocks in addition to a game of 36 points, 10 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks for the junior.

Junior wing Teagan Schoenecker was doing it all in a win for Oregon High School. She had a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds as well as 6 assists. She then followed that up with a similar game which included 21 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals.

Arie Garcia-Evans had herself a near triple-double. The junior guard had 10 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, as well to 5 steals. She has recently added an offer from Siena College.

Arabella Silva continues to put up ridiculous stat lines in her sophomore season. Newest one included 27 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. She also recently scored her 1,000th career point even while only a sophomore.

Senior Katie Barker had a double-double and then some. This was with 26 points and 11 rebounds plus 5 steals. As well she hit six threes in the game.

Sloane Connell had herself a pair of double-doubles. First was a game with 28 points and 14 rebounds followed by one with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the frosh forward.
