Girls Recruitment News – October 8th

Not the biggest issue of recruiting news but plenty of headlining commitments. Here is the news to start off October.

One of the top seniors from Indiana has made their commitment. This came from Brooklynn Renn, a 6’3” power forward of Silver Creek and Indiana Girls Basketball. Renn will be headed to Kansas.

It has been a busy several weeks of commitments from the Wisconsin Lakers programs including ones to some prominent schools. The newest came from Anna Miller, a 2027 point guard of Edgewood High School, who will be staying close to home with her commitment to Wisconsin.

One of the top guards in all of Illinois, 6’0” Peyton Hoffmann, has added another offer. From ALL IN and Grayslake Central High School, Hoffmann picked this one up from Toledo.

Illinois Lady Lightning and Rolling Meadows senior Dalia Grandberry will be staying in-state for her college ball. The senior post will be making the move to Eastern Illinois next year.

SMU landed a major addition coming out of Illinois, From Example Sports and Example Academy, senior point guard Shania James has made her commitment to the ACC program.

What a few days it has been for Jordyn Ellis. The 6’3” sophomore of Whitney Young and Mac Irvin Fire picked up offers from Missouri, Georgetown, and Arkansas.

A pair of sophomores from the Chicago Hoops Express program have landed offers from UW-Milwaukee. It was Keyera Gamble of Trinity High School and Avani Williams of Fenwick High School pulling in these offers.

Indiana Tech was able to land a commitment from a 6’4” post. This came from senior Maycee Randall of Mount Carmel High School and Indiana Elite Havoc.

That wasn’t the only commitment coming from the Indiana Elite Havoc to start off October as Charlie Walker also made hers. The 6’0” senior of Terre Haute North announced her plans to attend Culver-Stockton.

Payton DuVall continues to be one of the most sought-after players in Indiana’s 2027 class. The newest offer for the Franklin Central and Indiana Girls Basketball product came from Oakland.

Another junior from the IGB program picking up an offer was Claire Larrison. Hers came from Northern Illinois.

Army West Point continues to be active in recruiting the Midwest. Their newest target is sophomore Kathlyn Bainbridge of St. Charles East High School and Team M14 who they have extended an offer to.

Wisconsin Academy’s Allie Dahl has reeled in another division two offer. After being offered by Minnesota Duluth at the end of September, she has now also been offered by Ashland University.

Another appearance of senior Abby Tassoul in these issues as she continues to be a popular target amongst division three programs. The newest offer for the Wisconsin Legends and De Pere point guard came from Edgewood University.

Lanie French, a junior guard of Always 100 and Bellmont High School has been offered by Olivet Nazarene.
