Girls Recruitment News – May 7th

Following the recent live period, there have been plenty of scholarship offers going out in addition to other recruitment news. Here are the headlines from the past couple of weeks.  

There was a major commitment recently coming from senior Nikki Kerstein. The Mac Irvin Fire and Montini point guard announced her pledge to Wisconsin.

A senior making their commitment was Tierney Madigan. The Laconia guard will be staying in-state with her commitment to UW-Milwaukee.

Multiple girls from the Always 100 program picked up offers. This included Zoie Walls from USC Upstate. Vanessa Rosswurm picked up multiple offers from St. Bonaventure, Saginaw Valley State, Davenport, and Ferris State. Janaya Cooper picked up a major in-state offer from Indiana.

Illinois Lady Lighting and Lyons Township 6’1” guard Emma O’Brien has picked up an offer coming from Loyola (MD).

Over just the past couple of weeks, junior Emma Briggs of Benet Academy and Team M14 has picked up a trio of division one offers. These came from Cornell, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Iona.

Another Team M14 junior picking up multiple offers including one from an Ivy League program was Madelyn Kiper. The 6’1” Minooka High School wing was offered by Cleveland State  and Penn.

Oregon High School and Wisconsin Academy junior Teagan Schoenecker has been a popular target recently. In just the past few days, the 6’1” wing picked up offers from both University of Mary and Air Force.

Quincy was able to add a late 2025 commitment coming from wing Brynlee Clark of Northview High School and IN Elite Havoc. Another IN Elite Havoc senior making a recent commitment was Taylor Van Meter who decided upon Indianapolis.

Multiple ALL IN girls picked up division one offers for themselves recently. The first of these being Leah Gilbertson. The junior 6’1” wing of Lake Zurich picked up her offer from Purdue Fort Wayne.

Junior forward Grace Lee, also from ALL IN, was also offered by Purdue Fort Wayne.

A sophomore from the ALL IN program picking up an offer was wing Peyton Hoffmann who got hers from Murray State.

Lastly from ALL IN was 6’2” junior Kaitlin Totaro. She picked up a pair of offers coming from Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne.

A commitment out of Wisconsin’s 2026 class came from Melia Lemorande. The Wisconsin Legends and Bay Port 6’1” forward made her commitment to Maryville.

As just a freshman, the recruitment is starting up for Keyaira Haywood. The Midwest Elite guard was offered by Sacramento State. Sacramento State also offered another Midwest Elite player in 2029 guard Mia Gage.

Freshman Norah Kling was able to pick up her first scholarship offer. The Eau Claire Memorial and Wisconsin Playmakers guard received it from UW-Green Bay.

2026 point guard Mikaia Litza of the Mac Irvin Fire and Wauwatosa East was offered by Harvard, UNLV, and Cal State Northridge.

Also from the Mac Irvin Fire, Paityn London picked up an offer. The sophomore guard received hers from UNLV.

DePaul extended an offer to Mac Irvin Fire and Dunlap freshman point guard Amiyah Gulley.
