Girls Recruitment News – February 23rd

From a commitment to an ACC program as well to several other commitments and plenty of offers, much recruitment news to catch up on. Here is all the newsworthy stories over the past ten days in the region.

The biggest piece of recruitment news recently came from Myah Epps. The standout junior guard of Homestead High School and the Always 100 program announced her future plans to play for Louisville. She chose the Cardinals over her other offers coming from Boston College, Clemson, DePaul, Florida, Harvard, Marquette, Miami, Virginia Tech, among others.

Another division one commitment was made by Addison Bjorklund. While only a sophomore, the 6’1” forward of Brainerd High School and the Minnesota Stars committed to North Dakota.  

From Naperville North and Team M14, senior Anna Richards has made her commitment to Milwaukee School of Engineering.

A few players from the Indiana Girls Basketball program have recently picked up division one offers for themselves. This included 6’3” sophomore Adah Hupfer being offered by Toledo, sophomore Claire Larrison being offered by Bradley, and lastly 6’0” junior Laniah Wills being offered by Green Bay.

Indiana Tech pulled in an in-state commitment from senior guard Sydnee Kessler of Eastside High School.

Ameerah Grant, who has been one of the top scorers in the entire nation has added a division one offer. Southern Illinois has offered the 5’4” senior guard of Brown Deer and the Wisconsin Playground Elite.

Senior point guard Teriana Higgins of Brown Deer High School and the Wisconsin Lady Shooters had made her college commitment as she will be headed to Triton College.

Another commitment out of Wisconsin came from Macie Neumeister. The senior of Luther High School and Team Wisconsin will be in-state having chosen UW-Platteville.

Senior Alana Shields of Whitney Young High School will be headed south next season as she has made her commitment to Langston University, an NAIA school in Oklahoma.

From Carroll High School and OPS, junior guard Ava Myers has received an offer from Bethel University. She was also recently offered by Dominican University.

Avery Moon, a 5’10” junior wing of the All Iowa Attack, has pulled in an offer from Grand View.

Simmons College and Southwestern Michigan College have both extended an offer to senior Rylan Byars of New Albany High School and Louisville Legends.
