Even in this quiet time of August, there has been a good deal of recruitment news over the past weeks. Several offers in addition to plenty of offers.
There were multiple Midwest players making their commitment to division one programs in the past week. The first of these being Alonna Divine. The senior guard of Pike High School and Midwest Elite will be headed to Detroit Mercy next year.
There was a major commitment out of Illinois coming from Kaitlin Totaro. The senior wing of ALL IN and DePaul Prep picked Loyola Maryland over several other division one offers.
Another ALL IN player with some recruitment news was Jade Taylor. The 6’3” center of Jones Prep High School was offered by both North Park and Wittenberg.
A commitment to a division two program came from Ellie Deprey. The Wisconsin Laker and Wauwatosa East senior picked Purdue Northwest.
One more division two commitment coming out of Wisconsin was from Ava Koch. The Omro High School and Wisconsin Playmakers Thrive senior guard will be headed to South Dakota Mines.
Another commitment out of Wisconsin came from Kamryn Lecce. The senior of Kenosha St. Joseph Academy and DF Elite decided upon Olivet Nazarene.
Sophomore Khloe Nicholson of Quincy High School and Missouri Phenom was offered by a Big 12 program in Utah University.
Players from the Always 100 program continue to be popular names in these articles with all their talent, this time for some offers. The first being 2027 Courtney Mathew of Rensselaer Central High School who picked up another division one offer this month, this one from Ball State. Another of their juniors with an offer was Grace Scharlach who got hers from Goshen College.
A couple of Wisconsin Legends seniors reeled in offers. This included guard Alexa Rattray to Lawrence University and guard Abby Tassoul from UW-Eau Claire.
While just starting on her freshman year, Nathalia Richardson has picked up an offer. The guard of Montini and M14 got it from Lewis University.
Also from M14, 2028 Sadie Lang of Sycamore High School picked up an offer which came from Illinois State following a visit.
Maddie Stocks, a senior of Germantown High School and the Wisconsin Lakers, has announced her commitment to UW-Eau Claire.
From Chicago Hoops Express and Nazareth Academy, senior guard Lyla Shelton has been offered by Cornell College.
Loras College extended an offer out to Ashiya Hopkins, a senior wing of Wisconsin Dells High School and the Midwest Wildcats.
2028 6’2” forward Ella Subbert of All Iowa Attack has picked up her second division one offer this summer. The first was from South Dakota and this most recent one came from Eastern Illinois.
Indiana Girls Basketball program 2027 Claire Larrison continues to be a very popular name amongst division one programs over the past few months. The newest offer for her came from Purdue Fort Wayne.
While on a visit, 6’ senior Charlie Walker of Indiana Elite Havoc and Terre Haute North High School was offered by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
