Game of Jordan Harrison Continues To Grow

Over the past year, Jordan Harrison has continued to show great development in his game. He finished his grassroots season last year with The Academy on a high note as one of the top 2026 guards at the NY2LA Final Chapter tournament. He continued this high level of play into his junior season at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School (MI).

In his junior season, he increased his scoring by 10 points per game to average 18 on the season. He also led his team in assists and steals while averaging 5 and 3, respectively. With the growth of his game, he was able to earn himself first team all-conference honors and best defensive player. “My junior season went pretty well I improved my game a lot becoming a much better decision maker and overall player. We finished second overall in our conference, however we unfortunately fell short in the district game.”

When asked to describe his own game, Harrison said “I’m a quick crafty guard that plays with pace that is good at getting to the rim but can score from all three levels, Also a guard that takes pride in playing defense and being scrappy.” Some elements of his game he is looking to improve upon include controlling the pace of the game, taking what the defense allows, and using the full court to his advantage.

Not only has the development of his game, resulted in some honors for Harrison but also some college interest. While his recruitment is just starting up, he is hearing from a few division three program. Included in these is Kalamazoo College and University of Chicago for the academic all-state guard.

In the upcoming grassroots season, Harrison will once again be suiting up for The Academy. “I want to be aggressive and consistent each game while contributing to winning. I also want to turn heads and build more relationships with college coaches,” he said about the spring season.
