First Offer For 2027 Timothy West

Timothy West joins one of just several players in Wisconsin’s 2027 class to hold a division one offer. The 6’2” guard of Edgewood High School and the Power 5 program picked up his first offer last week.

Jacksonville State of Conference USA became the first school to offer West. “When I got my first offer, it was an unreal feeling. I was really excited and grateful,” he said about receiving his first offer. “Jacksonville state has a really scrappy and aggressive team, which is my favorite way to play. Also, the school is a really good school with a good athletic program,” he said about Jacksonville State. They are coming off a 23-win season in which they made it to the second round of the NIT.

While it is the first offer for West, he does have several other division one programs showing interest in him. Amongst these are Alabama A&M, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, and Milwaukee.

In his sophomore season, West averaged 15.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game for Edgewood. “Shifty and aggressive,” West first said when describing his own game. “Also, a very high competitor. I like to get to the rim but I’m also a good shooter.” In addition to these offensive abilities, he has consistently proven to be one of the top perimeter defenders in Wisconsin’s 2027 class.
