Eli Krueger Is A Must Know 2027 PF

Not only one of the top players in Wisconsin’s 2027 class, Eli Krueger was also one of the top big men on the NY2LA Association this season playing with the Wisconsin Swing. This follows a freshman season in which the 6’8” power forward averaged 9.4 points and 7.5 rebounds during his freshman season at McFarland High School.

“It went really well going 37-12 and making it deep In plenty of tournaments,” Krueger said on his season with the Swing. “I had a bunch of fun playing with the guys on the team, which several of us have been playing together for years and can’t wait to see what we do next year.”

Behind the play of Krueger, the Wisconsin Swing started the season at 4-2 at the loaded NY2LA Swish N’ Dish Tournament and continued to impress from there. This included a platinum championship at the NY2LA Sports Invitational and a semifinals appearance at Summer Jam. Following Summer Jam, he suffered an injury that kept him out for the rest of the summer but is looking to get back on the court by the end of this month.

“A player that can fill any position,” Krueger said when talking about his own game. Even while already having great size at 6’8”, the sophomore has shown a well-rounded game. As well to being a true force on the interior on both ends, he has proven to be a consistent outside shooter as well to being able to put the ball on the floor. Some of the things he is looking to improve upon include his ball handling and quickness to defend multiple positions.

With all the great tools to his game, the recruitment of Krueger is just starting. Look for him to get on plenty of college coaches radars over the past year. In his upcoming sophomore season, he is looking to make a bigger impact and develop into more of a leader.
