It has been a busy few weeks for Jake Broeske taking his first college visits. This included a trio of visits for the 2026 6’9” post of Lomira High School (WI) going to Xavier, Miami (OH), and finally DePaul.
“It was great to get down to Xavier for a visit,” Broeske said about the first of these visits. “It was great to see their game day routine and see how they lock in for their games. Their game day atmosphere was super awesome, and their arena the Cintas Center was amazing. Their whole coaching staff was very welcoming of me and my family and I look forward to staying in touch with them.”
For his next visit, Broeske said “The visit to Miami of Ohio was great. The campus there was super nice, and it seemed like a true college town. I had a great meeting with their head coach and coach Richburg, and they were very welcoming to me and my family. I am looking forward to keeping in touch with them.”
“I really enjoyed the visit to DePaul. Their facilities and their campus were all very nice. I really liked the city vibe of DePaul as well. When watching their practice, I could tell that DePaul is heading in the right direction. All of the coaches and staff gave me and my family great hospitality. I am looking forward to keeping in touch with them,” he said on his most recent visit.
In addition to these three schools, the ones recruiting him currently include Evansville, Northern Michigan, Toledo, UC-San Diego, Valparaiso, and Wright State.
