It has been a very busy fall of visits for Jake Pollack. The 6’8” junior forward of Deerfield High School and the Illinois Wolves has already taken three recently with a couple more on the way. First up was Miami (OH), then out west to UC-San Diego, and most recently to Yale.
When talking about the first of these visits, Pollack said “Miami of Ohio’s campus is beautiful. They have a couple guys from Chicago, and I really liked their culture. I had a great meeting with the head coach and Coach Holmes really made me feel welcome. Miami of Ohio is a great school, and I am looking forward to staying in touch with them.”
Next up on his visit out to California, he said “This was my first time at UCSD. The campus was beautiful, and their facilities were very nice. They had a couple players from Europe on the team which was cool to see. I hadn’t met most of the staff until I got there. They were all very nice and welcoming. I like their play style and it fits the way that I play.”
For his most recent visit that just took place this week, “The visit to Yale was great. It was my second time there and I really enjoyed watching them practice and seeing campus again. I feel that I’m building a great connection with the whole staff. Yale does a great job consistently and I am very excited to continue to strengthen my relationship with them.” Pollack had also been out at the Ivy League school back in June for their elite camp.
Next up for Pollack are visits to a couple more Ivy League schools in Dartmouth and Penn. In addition to these programs, some of the others who have reached out to him include Columbia and Northeastern.
