It has been a busy few months for Mitch Finefrock on and off the court. As well to being one of the top shooters on the NY2LA Association playing with All Ohio Select, he has also seen his recruitment take off. He has taken a few visits as well to receiving his first few division one offers.
Back in April, the 6’2” shooting guard received his first offer coming from Columbia. Then in May he also added another two offers coming from St. Francis (PA) and then Rider. Some of the other schools recruiting him include Boston University, Evansville, Harvard, Holy Cross, Mercyhurst, Princeton, Stetson, Toledo, William & Mary, Yale, among many others.
Finefrock has already taken a visit to a few of these programs recently going to Harvard, Holy Cross, and Yale. “Yale was awesome. They have a beautiful campus and their gym, and a lot of campus was built like a church. Coach Simon was super cool. They have a great program,” the rising senior said about his trip to the Ivy League campus.
On his visits to a pair of Massachusetts schools, he said “The Harvard and Holy cross visits also went well. Holy Cross had a beautiful campus and great facilities. Coach Johnson was super impressive. Harvard was super pretty as well.”
Up next for the sharpshooter is visits to both Columbia and Princeton.
