A breakout player in Wisconsin’s 2026 class this spring has been Noah Maniscalco. The guard of Wisconsin Legends and De Pere High School has shined at both the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish and Spring Extravaganza tournaments.
When asked about his spring season so far with the Wisconsin Legends, Maniscalco called it great. “My team is winning against quality teams and competing with all levels of competition.” He also added in that he feels that he has expanded his game on both sides of the ball including improving his ability to create his own shot.
Maniscalco had multiple standout games to start April at Swish N’ Dish starting with 20 points in a platinum bracket play win. He followed that up by hitting five threes in a tight loss to Team Herro EYBL. He continued to shine throughout the month leading the Wisconsin Legends to an undefeated 4-0 record at the Spring Extravaganza which included a 22-point game. From the Spring Extravaganza, he was named second team all-tournament.
“I can score on all three levels,” Maniscalco said describing his own game. “As I’ve gotten stronger, I can finish in the lane, make mid-range shots, but my best quality is my outside shooting. On top of scoring, I can grab strong rebounds and find creative ways to get the ball to my teammates.”
So far, the recruitment of Maniscalco has been limited. Though if he continues to play like this, he should certainty have plenty of college coaches looking his way. “Keep winning games and staying competitive with all levels of competition,” he said about goals for the rest of the grassroots season. He is also looking at becoming stronger and improve all aspects of his game to prepare for his senior season and playing college basketball.
