Throughout the summer, Braden Freeman has continued to add to his offer list. Most recently, the 6’6” senior guard of Moline High School (IL) and MidPro Academy has added another division one offer for himself.
Freeman was a key to all the success of MidPro Academy during the grassroots season. This included an undefeated, platinum championship performance at the NY2LA Summer Jam during the July live periods. As well to having great size in the backcourt at 6’6”, Freeman brings plenty of versatility. Throughout the grassroots season he showed the ability to score the ball from all three levels in addition to his athleticism and ability to matchup with both guards and forwards defensively.
His summer of offers started back in June with offers from both Emporia State and Illinois Springfield. Then in July, Rockhurst University also offered him. Now most recently, Cal Poly University has also offered him. University of Incarnate Word had previously offered him as well last year.
“I like the coaches and how well they communicated,” Freeman said about his newest offer in Cal Poly. For his future school, Freeman is looking for “A place I can call home. A coach who believes in me. Ultimately where God puts me.”
