TOP PERFORMERS
Jerome Dixon - 5-10 - Net Gain - 2015 - Dixon is a dual threat for Net Gain. If he's given space, he'll knock down the three-point shot. If he's guarded tightly, Dixon has a quick first step to get around his opponent. Dixon had 19 points for Net Gain against Kingdom Hoops, including four three-pointers.
Zach Hanson - 6-9 - Dakota Schoolers - 2013 - Hanson had two solid games for the Dakota Schoolers with his toughness and length inside. Hanson is very skilled for his size and moves well. Hanson has good vision as well, which he uses to pass out of double teams, and hi-low sets.
Jarvis Garrett - 5-11 - TP Elite - 2013 - Garrett had 16 points for TP Elite in their win Thursday afternoon. Garrett can break his opponents down from the outside with great handles. He also has a sweet pull up jumper off the dribble. Garrett does it on defense as well, as he's a terrific on ball defender.
Ethan Happ - 6-7- Quad City Elite - 2014 - Happ had 16 points for Quad City, who dismantled the Milwaukee Rebels. Happ showed tremendous grit and determination, often leading to turnovers by his opponents. Happ also displayed terrific ball handling skills in the open floor. The 6-7 forward isn't afraid to go coast to coast with the ball in his hands.
Riley LaChance - 6-1- Ray Allen Select - 2014 - LaChance was clutch down the stretch for Ray Allen Select. With his team down one, LaChance stole the ball at the top of the key and finished off the play with a transition layup after he was fouled. LaChance knocked in the free throw, which proved to be the game winning basket. The 6-1 guard finished with 23 points, connecting on five three-pointers.
Jake Showalter - 6-3- Wisconsin Swing - 2014 - Showalter poured in 24 points for the Wisconsin Swing in an overtime win against the Minnesota Fury. Showalter is a very good shooter and posses' a quick release. Showalter doesn't need much space to get a shot off, and is comfortable fading away.
STOCK BOOSTERS
Riley Dearring - 6-5- Net Gain - 2013 - Dearring was terrific for Net Gain against the Iowa Mavericks, coming off screens and knocking down shots with a quick release. Dearring had 21 points and was very efficient from the field. He has some bounce and often curls off screens to attack the hole with one or two dribbles.
Michael Ford - 6-4 - SYF - 2013 - Ford had another big game for SYF with 21 points against the Wisconsin Blizzard. Ford constantly attacked the rim and can shield off bigger defenders at the rim. Ford is also a beast on the offensive glass as he can out-muscle and rise up over his opponents.
Dalton Franken - 6-5 - Kingdom Hoops - 2013 - Franken is a physical rebounder and scores on mid-range jumpers and hustle plays. Franken is good at creating contact and getting to the free throw line as well.
Damontrae Jefferson - 5-7 - Milwaukee Rebels - 2014 - Jefferson caught fire for the Rebels as they cruised to another victory. Jefferson had 18 points, connecting on a few three's and finishing at the rim in traffic. Jefferson is a fearless driver and has exceptional passing skills.
Kenneth Lowe - 6-7- Wisconsin Blizzard - 2013 - Lowe had 20 points for the Blizzard in a loss to SYF. Lowe is long and strong on the interior, but what makes him unique are his perimeter skills. Lowe has no problem taking defenders off the dribble, which creates severe mismatch problems for opponents.
Sid Tomes - 5-11 - Net Gain - 2015 - Tomes knocked in five three-pointers for Net Gain. Tomes stepped into to open areas and drilled shots with confidence. Tomes is also a smooth driver and finishes with ease. Tomes dropped 17 points in Net Gains win over Kingdom Hoops
STAR WATCH
Kevon Looney - 6-8 - Milwaukee Rebels - 2014 - Looney has almost unlimited potential with his long wing span and athleticism. Looney scored 14 points and got easy points when he wanted to. He's a star, but he never tries to do too much and is comfortable differing to his teammates.
Bronson Koenig 6-3 - Wisconsin Swing - 2013 - Koenig was rather quiet with 13 points against the Minnesota Fury, but knows what his team needs and when they need it. Koenig was terrific in transition and pick and roll settings.
Deonte Burton - 6-5 - TP Elite - 2013 - Burton came on late for TP Elite as he often does. Button was played by a bigger defender for much of the game, but powered through contact down low on his way to finishing with 12 points.
