RECRUITING UPDATES
2012 SF Jean-Pierre Tokoto of Menomonee Falls has narrowed his list down to Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Marquette, Maryland, North Carolina, UCLA, and Wisconsin.
Purdue landed one of the rising 2013 prospects in the country as G Kendall Stephens of St. Charles East (IL) verbally committed to the Boilermakers on Monday.
One of the top marksmen in the 2011 class is back on the board as SF Abdel Nader of Niles North (IL) re-opened his recruitment on Monday after previously committing to New Mexico. Rumors are circulating that Nader may re-classify as a 2012 prospect and head to prep school but early indications are that schools like Louisville, Michigan State, Marquette, etc. may have any interest in Nader as a 2011 talent.
2013 SG Nick Fuller of Sun Prairie (WI) will take a visit to Purdue this weekend according to his father. Fuller is one of the top marksmen in the 2013 class nationally.
2011 PF/C Max Biefeldt of Notre Dame H.S. (IL) has picked up and offer from Illinois to go along with the same from Wright State, Ball State, UIC, and Valparaiso. Bielfeldt played with the SYF Players last summer.
2013 G Bronson Koenig of La Crosse Aquinas (WI) picked up an offer from Virginia last week.
2012 G Gary Harris of Hamilton SE (IN) has taken unofficial visits to Purdue, Michigan State, and Notre Dame the past couple of weeks. Kentucky is now on his trail as well amongst a host of other schools. Harris plays with the D3 Heat program during the summer.
2012 PG Jacobby Bledsoe of Hamilton SE (IN) took an unofficial visit to Indiana State on Sunday. VCU, Kent State, and Duquesne are the latest schools to hop on the talented lead guard's recruiting trail. Oregon State is rumored to come in for tonight's game against Pike and Kentucky bound Marquis Teague to check out the ultra quick lead guard who also plays with the D3 Heat during the summer.
Tennesse is the latest school to jump on the recuiting trail of 2013 PG Duane Wilson Jr. of Dominican (WI).

The tournament is regarded as one of the premiere tournaments to wrap the spring portion of the travel season. The first girls only tournament offered up by NY2LASPORTS.COM after mixing boys and girls with our annual May event, the Summer Sizzle stands to heat up the court with some of the best girls talent in the Midwest. Annually regarded as one of the premiere tournaments to kick off the July “live” evaluation period. Last year’s tournament sold out once again and featured over 250 college coaches with all games being held inside the same facility every day so every prospect who took the court had a chance to be seen by the college coaches in attendance. A loaded field of teams is already confirmed once again this year for this tournament which will be certified for NCAA Division I college coaches to attend for the 4th consecutive year. One of the true measuring sticks for tournaments during the July “live” evaluation period, the Summer Jam is easily regarded as one of the premiere events in the country annually. Last year’s tournament saw over 250 college coaches in attendance with mid to high major programs and head coaches from coast to coast in attendance once again (i.e. Howland, Romar, Izzo, Pitino, Self, Smith, Williams, Crean, etc.). The Final Chapter - July 22-26, 2011 – Las Vegas, NV – Boys 15u-17u teams
The desert in Las Vegas, Nevada promises to be as hot as ever next July during the second half of the “live” evaluation period and NY2LASPORTS.COM will be front and center with THE FINAL CHAPTER, a new tournament added to our family of events for next year. The tournament will be a certified event for Division 1 college coaches and will tip off July 22-26, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is open to 15u-17u teams with multi-team discounts available for programs bringing more than one team to the event.
