One more group of available Midwest seniors. As we head into the winter, look for the recruitment of these five to heat up.

Marion Boydland - 2027 - SF - Power 5

While his recruitment may not be at the same level as some of the players on this list, he is still one of the top available players in all of Wisconsin. He showed all of his tools and his highly impact play recently at the NY2LA Junior Senior Showcase where he was named MVP and third best 2027 recruit of the event. Boyland is a 6’5” wing forward that plays with good energy and physicality to be a highly impactful player on both sides of the ball who can do a bit of everything.

Christian Cast - 2027 - G - Power 5

The Michigan native is one of the top available guards in the nation’s 2027 class. Cast is a highly skilled guard with great shot making ability, positional size at 6’4”, and ability to run the point. He has a lengthy list of division one offers which includes Mississippi State, San Diego State, Penn State, Loyola Chicago, Toledo, and others. Cast now attends Orangeville Prep.

Landon Lethunya - 2027 - PF - Full Package

Lethunya is one of the more high upside players in Illinois’ senior class. He has size in the front court standing at 6’9” along with his fluid athleticism along with continuing to grow his all-around game. He is already a highly impactful player with his shot blocking, rebounding, scoring as a cutter, explosive finisher, and shooting the three. Lethunya is drawing interest from division one programs.

KeShaun Manney - 2027 - G - Midwest Renegade

Manney had committed to Winona State for football back in September. Though on Tuesday he opened up his commitment and became one of the top guards available in Illinois. Much more than a football standout, Manney has also proven his basketball ability which included a first team all-state junior season. Now open to playing college hoops, look for his interest to start back up.

Nate Woods - 2027 - G/F - Y&R

Woods has great translatable tools for the next level. The wing has good size at 6’6” and plus length along with being one of the top shooters in all of Illinois. He is a pure outside shooter with great range along with a quick and high release. Included in his recruitment he holds an offer from Texas Rio Grande Valley where he recently took an official visit to.
