While the college season starts up this week, there is still plenty of recruitment taking place. Here is all the news from the past week. 

Duke has extended an offer to five star guard Brady Pettigrew of Brad Beal Elite and Bolingbrook. The junior also has prominent offers from Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Villanova, and others. 

Wash U St. Louis came into Illinois to land one of the state's top available big men. This came from Gus Johnson, a 6’9” power forward of DePaul Prep and Illinois Wolves. 

Kamden Kroll, a senior of Wisconsin Playmakers and Northwestern HS, has made his commitment to St. John’s (MN). 

Indiana Tech has landed an in-state commitment for its 2027 recruiting class. This came from Zavier Laney, a 6’4” guard of Center Grove. 

Another Indiana school picking up a commitment was DePauw. Theres came from Griffyn Robisch, a 6’7” wing of Carmel. 

After being in this issue last week for his offer from North Park, Nick Brzezniak has added another offer to get included again. This one came from Carthage for the senior wing of Illinois Flight and Lincoln Way Central. 

Triton College has picked up a commitment from Delvito Velazquez, a senior guard of Messmer and Team Herro Elite. 

6’8” Senior post Jacob Jungwirth of Neenah and 24Up continues to pull in the offers this fall with the most recent one coming from UW-Eau Claire. 

Grant Smith continues to be one of the more sought after players in Illinois’ 2028 class over the past few months. The newest offer for the Lyons Township product came from Belmont. 

From MidPro and Oakwood, senior wing forward Carsen Dudley has received an offer from Madison College. 

Tayte Cordova has added another offer this fall. The newest for the senior guard of Team GPA and Warren Township came from Augustana College. 

Concordia Chicago has offered Mammoth Basketball and Sheboygan Lutheran senior Ben Verhagen. 

Rockford University has picked up an in-state commitment coming from Tyson Brannan, a senior of Belvidere North and M14. 

Sam Church, a senior of Martin Brothers and Muscatine, has been offered by DMACC. 

Ohio Dominican went into Indiana to land a 2027 commitment. This came from Ari Sahm, a 6’4” two guard of Bishop Chatard and Indiana Basketball Club. 

Ricky Woods Jr, a senior post of Y&R and Rockford Guilford, has added an offer from Elmhurst.
