While it is early in the process, Wisconsin’s 2030 class is already looking to have plenty of talent. Among the top of the class includes Arroyo Edwards, a 6’6” wing of West Allis Central High School and Team Herro.
Edwards is still a few weeks shy of starting his high school career, but has already started to draw some division one interest. This includes recently taking a visit to Northern Illinois. “I’m very grateful,” Edwards said about the visit. “It was good. I like the energy I saw on campus and the brotherly love they got there.”
Along with his first college visit, it has been a big fall for the freshman. Edwards was also named MVP earlier this month at the NY2LA Futures Camp. Throughout the camp, he showcased a great blend of tools that few freshmen have. He possesses both great physical tools and skills. In addition to being 6’6”, he also has great length. As well, he also has growing guard skills. Edwards has a good ability to handle the ball and create off the dribble. He also has a well-rounded game with his ability to hit jumpers from the mid-range and three and showed the tools to be a versatile, high level defender.
“I see my game improving each day and aiming to be a high impact this year for Central,” Edwards said about his game as he moves into his freshmen season. West Allis Central should have one the more talented teams this season as along with Edwards they have Green Bay commit Max Jones, Isaiah Fox, and others.
